KONDISI PENCEMARAN LINGKUNGAN DI SEKITAR MUARA CILINCING BERDASARKAN PARAMETER MIKROBIOLOGIS

Abstract


Perairan Cilincing sebagai salah satu bagian dari Teluk Jakarta merupakan salah satu wilayah dengan tekanan antropogenik yang terus meningkat akibat beban pencemaran yang cukup tinggi dari limbah domestik. Salah satu indikator pencemaran limbah domestik secara mikrobiologis adalah jumlah cemaran bakteri koliform dan fekal koli pada lingkungan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kondisi pencemaran lingkungan di sekitar muara Cilincing berdasarkan jumlah bakteri indikator koliform. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada bulan April 2019  menunjukkan bahwa kandungan bakteri koliform pada muara Cilincing berkisar antara 4,15x104 – 7,1x105 cfu/100ml dengan rata-rata 1,46x105 cfu/100ml dan bakteri fekal koli antara 3,75x103 – 6,4x104 cfu/100ml dengan rata-rata 6,2x104 cfu/100ml. Daerah yang memiliki kandungan cemaran tertinggi berada tepat di mulut muara. Pencemaran lingkungan di muara Cilincing telah mengalami kenaikan dibandingkan tahun 2015, yang ditunjukkan melalui peningkatan kepadatan bakteri indikator pencemaran koliform sebanyak 38 kali lipat dan fekal koli sebanyak 12 kali lipat
