OSMOREGULASI : SALAH SATU INDIKATOR PENCEMARAN LOGAM DI LAUT

Abstract


Pencemaran logam berat di laut dapat disebabkan oleh logam berat seperti Timbal (Pb) dan Tembaga (Cu) yang dapat di deteksi dengan jalan mengukur bioakumulasi kedua logam tersebut pada jaringan ikan atau crustacea. Selain itu, deteksi adanya pencemaran logam berat ini juga dapat dilakukan secara fisiologis  melaui osmoregulasi ikan atau crustacea yaitu dengan jalan mengukur tekanan osmotik darah pada ikan dan hemolimph pada crustacea.
