PENGGUNAAN PVC PANEL SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF WALL LINING SYSTEM PADA MAIN DECK KAPAL PERINTIS 1200 GT

Abstract


In the construction of a ship, there are several factors to note, such as the ship interior and its equipment at this time that have many development. From the side of the accomodation system, must function optimally, comfortable, and have a good aesthetics. It must also be easy and quick installation of lining and ceiling. In common situation installation of the lining system in the main deck space using galvanized steel sandwich panel. Due to the more commonly known and lack of innovation in the use of other materials on the installation of the lining on the main deck space of the ship. This research will planning and analyzing the installation of wall lining system of galvanized steel sandwich panels and pvc panels material to the deviation of installation time covering the spacious effective area, material weight, work volumes and duration of galvanized steel sandwich panels material installation, and also pvc panels as alternative material wall lining system on main deck pioneer ship 1200 GT. Due to the installation of wall lining room on main deck, modeling made in the form of 2 dimention (2D) and 3 dimention (3D) using AutoCAD 2014 software. The result of deviation calculation of wall lining system installation on main deck with galvanized steel sandwich panels and pvc panels covering the spacious effective area using pvc panel wider 1,60%, work volume greater 0,4%,  material weight lighter 12,65%, while installation duration is 26,19% faster than using galvanized steel sandwich panels. The result of deviation analysis of wall lining system installation using pvc panel material as alternative wall lining system is proper to use
