LAJU KOROSI LENGKUNG PELAT BADAN KAPAL SETELAH PROSES HOT BENDING

Abstract


Due to corrosion is not a small cost incurred in the change of plate on board. Corrosion theoretically can not be prevented, but as much as possible can be controlled. This research is intended to obtain the corrosion rate of the plate that has been warped by the process of fairing (hot bending) on the manufacture of new vessels or the replacement of raised plates. The research method is test plate that has been warped by salt spray test method. From the analysis of the test data obtained that the smaller the curved radius the greather the corrosion rate. By proving the quiation Y = - 0,433 Ln (x) + 20,425, value (x) is the radius function value
