KEPADATAN OPTIMAL BENIH IKAN KERAPU SUNU, Plectrpomus Leopardus PADA PENDEDERAN DALAM BAK TERKONTROL

Abstract


Grouper of coral trout are one of the fishery commodities that can generate foreign exchange through export. Therefore, the cultivation of hatchery and nursery continue to increase the growth and survival rate. The objective of this study was to obtain an appropriate density data on the nursery grouper of coral trout that supported optimal growth and optimality. The research has been conducted in hatchery of  the Institute for Mariculture Research and Fishery Counseling (BBRBLPP), Bali. The experimental  used is a fiber tank with a volume size of 1m³ of 12 tanks. The animals used in this study were seeding results of hatchery grouper in hatchery with a total length of 2.98 - 3.10 cm, and weights 0.44 - 0.48 g. Seeds of grouper coral trout are kept in fiber tanks. Fish are fed commercial pellets with 48% protein content, and additional feed is mysid shrimp (jembret) for the first 10 days. Frequency of feeding 3 times a day (at 8:00, 12:00, and 16:00 local time) for 90 days. The density treatments in this study were: Treatment A = 100 pc / m³, B = 150 pc / m³, C = 200 pc / m³, and D = 250pc / m³. The study was designed with a complete randomized design with 4 treatments and 3 times. Data were analyzed using ANOVA and descriptive. The results showed that survival  rate was 98.83%,  and daily growth (0.20 g / day)..
