PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PREBIOTIK MANNANOLIGOSAKARIDA (MOS) TERHADAP KINERJA PERTUMBUHAN IKAN BAUNG Mystus nemurus DI KOLAM TANAH, TANGKILING, PALANGKA RAYA

Abstract


Aplikasi prebiotik MOS pada skala laboratorium telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan sintasan, pertumbuhan dan respons imun ikan catfish terhadap serangan patogen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh pemberian prebiotik MOS terhadap kinerja pertumbuhan ikan baung yang dipelihara pada skala lapang di hapa (2x1x1 m3) yang dipasang di kolam tanah. Ikan baung ukuran bobot tubuh rata-rata awal 23 g dipelihara selama 60 hari pada hapa dengan kepadatan 40 ekor/m2. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua perlakuan dengan dua kali ulangan yaitu perlakuan K (tanpa penambahan prebiotik MOS) dan P (penambahan prebiotik MOS 0,2% dari jumlah pakan). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian prebiotik MOS mampu meningkatkan sintasan, laju pertumbuhan harian, rasio konversi pakan, efisiensi pakan dan tingkat pertambahan bobot tubuh ikan baung
